Why Enriched Air?
In scuba diving, divers breathe under high-pressure conditions, leading to the dissolution of nitrogen in the body. Decompression sickness occurs when this nitrogen vaporizes within the body due to the pressure decrease during ascent. Therefore, effectively managing dive time and depth is crucial for ensuring a safe and enjoyable diving experience.
By using enriched air, which has a lower concentration of nitrogen compared to regular air, it becomes possible to reduce the amount of nitrogen retained in the body when diving at the same depth and duration. This significantly lowers the risk of decompression sickness.
Typically, certification is required to use enriched air; however, at Prime Scuba Ishigaki, as part of our campaign, you can enjoy diving with enriched air even without certification, as our experienced instructors will provide supervision and guidance throughout the experience.
Normally, certification is required to use enriched air, but Prime Scuba Ishigaki allows non-certified divers to enjoy diving with enriched air under the supervision of our experienced instructors as part of our campaign.
