To make the most of your valuable vacation time, we encourage our guests to complete the knowledge development portion of the program through e-learning before your trip to Ishigaki. PADI e-Learning is available in many languages, with a choice of an online version and an offline (e-Learning Touch) version for mobile devices such as iPhone and iPad.
Please note that PADI e-Learning is not included in our OWD program and you must register directly on the PADI site. Also, when registering for PADI e-Learning, be sure to use the link provided on our website. This also allows us to monitor your e-Learning progress so you do not have to bring a printed certificate of e-Learning completion with you when you finish.
PADI e-Learning typically takes a total of 5-6 hours to complete. The basic knowledge included in the PADI e-Learning program is critical in enjoying scuba diving safely. We encourage you to take sufficient time to learn about this basic knowledge before arriving on Ishigaki Island.
